Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Firewall. I've ran into this before where the firewall service wasn't running, I had to go in and turn the service to manual, then go through the control panel and turn on the firewall. Install or share the printer (forgot if i had to reinstall it or just set the share) Then go back in and revert all the firewall changes to how it was previously configured.

I did just test it on a virtual 08 server and couldn't duplicate it but i know this fixed it for me at one account.

Hopefully this does the trick for ya. Bothers me i couldnt duplicate it on the virtual box but im sure theres outside variables playing. Make sure to disable any other 3rd party firewall before doing it too also just to make sure, im not sure it would cause conflicts but ya never know.

looks like its a model error, load driver without using the kyocera auto install it should load fine.
add printer, add port standard tcp ,browse to kyocera driver folder to pick inf.
