A customer's KM-2810 is showing a toner catridge not installed and/or developer unit not installed error. the developer unit was switched with one that is working as well as a new print catridge.the toner ssensor was changed as well as the developer clutch. same result the control pwb was changed from another 2810 and the error was cleared. however the new board that was ordered under warranty is giving the same error.!!!! WHY!!!!

Are you still using the same original toner cartridge in the machine ?
Ive had similar type faults with the FS printer series. The shutter-open gear in the toner cartridge spins freely on its shaft and the machine won't tone up. The FS-Printers (eg FS3820 FS1920) just sit there cycling forever calling for toner.
Solution : Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
