According to the Katun equivalency site: FS 1016 MFP, EU, Olivetti Lexikon, D-COPIA 163 MF. that being said I have one that is very slow getting started. it started when the waste toner code came on at 66k. I cleaned the drum unit and it started printing again. now you have to hit print button at least twice for it to start to scan and then it takes about 30 seconds to make first copy. on single copy it take the 30 seconds on each copy. if you multicopy after the first copy, speed seems to be OK. some times you have to turn power on and off several times to clear jam light. the jam light is a triangle shaped light according to user manual but the service manual (that someone greatfully sent me) shows that light as a memory full and no way to empty memory. I did order a new drum to go in it but it was no help. customer doesn't want to spend more money on it like putting in new main board. do you think firmware could solve this problem. I am not a kyocera dealer and did not sell this machine so any help would be appreciated
