    Windows vista

have three different vista computers scanning to a 2126mfp. one will not scan throwing a connect code, the other computers are fine i just dont get it. i guess this computer would not scan to the old mfp either, any ideas, all info is correct, anything in avg that would stop it?

      Are you using hostname?

From another computer ping the hostname, and then ping the IP address. If the IP responds but not the hostname, there is a DNS issue, and you are better off setting scan to IP (and making it static on the comp)

Also, if this computer was ever part of a domain, it might still need that in the Command Center. It's either domain\login or domain/login.

Also, if there is an Admin account, type those credentials into Command Center and try it.
