    KM4530/5530

    Encounter a problem
    My customer had machine from another branch shipped over

    It was Kyocera Mita 4530/5530 it is locked in the key counter mode
    they cant find the key

    We got into machine service mode and see several different key counter modes
    but dont know which one to shut down or if there is a combination

    Need to buy service manual but I need to get them up and running now

          Humm, I used to service some that had a Key Counter, but as far as I can remember, that Mode is for Equipment in either Europe or Japan, if Im not mistaken, the Key Counter, at least the ones I used to service, were "IMPROVED" but one of our techs, the Key Counter was HARD WIRED in making some cuts on some of the boards, make sure you check for that before you go around and turn anything off. you might have to re-solder or rebuild some boards.
