web interface problem

Hi all

when i try to open web interface of a fs-1128
to make smtp settings all advanced tab is hidden
start basic printer scanner fax all tabs are ok but advanced tab in not there :S
why cant i access the advanced tab ?? or is there any other way to make smtp settings?

you`ll have to login password is admin00 or 2800 not sure

i already did with admin00

try under scanner section there`s usually a small tab on the screen that says click here to setup smtp server,or it could be under email,hope this helps

this has come up a few times in this forums. if your using firefox as a web browser i think the same thing happens. make sure to use IE to do setups. i had this problem on a 300ci lucky for me there is a web browser on the machine that i could use to get to the advanced tab.

i already tried it under scanner tab there is a smtp link but its not working
there is also onemore link at printer tab its not working too
trying with explorer was my first idea i tried also with chrome but none of them working :.((
anymore idea?

I can not believe the webinterface is broken. Try a laptop or another PC.

Have you tried updating firmware?

i tried with different pcs all is same but i didnt update firmware i only made language update
my firmware version is 2JN_2F00.022.009.2010.11.17
is there any newer one? my distributor says no
