Hello All, I have an issue with the ai3010 I could use some help with. The customer called complaining about jams. When I arrivied I found that the machine was jamming in the fuser unit. The rollers were all bad so I ordered them from presision roller Heat Press and cleaning (crome steel that rides below th Press roller) It still missfed in the fuser so I tightened up the spring pressure on each side of the fuser. This seemed to do the trick. A few days later they called same problem. The problem seems to be if the pressure is not tight enough it won't pull the paper through the fuser. If I tighten it up the paper creases badly. Any Help would be appreciated Thanks....Anthony

Pull the fuser and turn it upside down. Check the metal plate that the paper rides before entering the rollers, what you are looking for is toner build up on the end when the rollers warm up the toner plaque(what i call it) is sticky like gum and will cause paper to jam. I have had a problem with a 2310 and 3010 doing this.
