I need the Operating System for Kyocera KM-5530

As you know i have deleted formated the whole sytem on the harddisk- drive and now I need the operating System for the Kyocera KM-5530. But I didnt find it on the website of kyocera. CAn you upload it for me or can you give me a link to download it?

Hmm, I'm not sure what you are asking for. The 5530 does not retain the copiers operating system on the HDD like Canons and others do. Once the HDD(assuming Copier and not Printer HDD) has been installed, run U024(which is sounds like you did) and you should be good to go. Flashcard firmware should be available on KMAConnect, but it is retained on a DIMM and not the hard drive. If your machine isn't booting, then you can try to reload the firmware, or order a new DIMM from Kyocera. Good luck!

you are right and the copier is booting, but the duplex and adf-modus is maybe off, do you know how to turn it on ..) i was in the service modus and didnt know the code to turn it on a

As long as both the ADF and the duplex are connected to the machine, they should just work. I'm wondering if you have either a board or wiring problem in your machine as I'm not aware of any way to turn those components off. You can try and run U906 to see if they are just disabled. Barring that, I would recommend looking at PCBs and wiring for faults. Good luck!

This copy machine came from the leasing and after that they have formatted the data on the hard disk. I can reboot the system but all the other extra function like duplex, adf are off. I can only copy from the lenses but like what i said the function like duplex, adf dont work. I was typing the service number 10871087 and the reset code U906. But on the display an error message appear that there is a "sytem error". And i should turn the main switch off and then on. After that the system cannot load again.

It seems that on the hard disk must be something like an booting data files that run the copy machine with all the function.
CAn you help me?

I agree with ClassyBananas, check your connectors on the Boards, make sure they are all the way in, there is no "Operating System" on the HardDrive, the MFP will actually format the HDD for it's purpose. If all your connectors are properly seated (make sure they click when you push them in) and given that your wire harnesses are not cut/broken, you might want to take a look at the Main PWB, dont remember if even the Engine PWB, Also, make sure all plugs for the ADF and ADU are connected, and are connected on the right spot, some boards have connectors that might be very close, and might have plugged in the wrong socket.

Check the connectors on board and on Duplex also check it there is no paper stuck in the back of the connector as this sometimes happens with frustrated clients

Check the connectors ALL of them on the board and dust of properly everything!!

Now flash with new FW and check, unplug HDD and flash again and see whether it works.

HDD is mainly as storage when scanning etc..no FW or program stored on it.

Check the DIMM on the Main PCB. it holds the page memory data for making copies. When it is bad, you can only do single side copying. Is the ADF showing up at all? If not, you may need a new Main PCB as the communication data is done on this board.
