    Kyocera FS-C2126mfp network password reset help

    I have one of these that the network password has been set and now they can't remember the login/password information. I have looked in the service manual but either I overlooked or any password reset wasn't included. Can anyone help me with how to reset this. I can get into the local login and I can get into service mode, but I cant make changes to their email setting thru the RUI do to this password issue.

    Thanks

    Scott

    If "admin00" doesn't work, try sending the following PRESCRIBE command to the printer:

    !R! ACNT "REST";EXIT;

    or

    !R! EGRE; EXIT;
    But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

      Thanks Jules,

      Ok boys and girls I have gone round and round with this little guy, but finally we can get in and do what neede to be done.
      I didn't do the Prescribe method simply because I couldn't find the information to tell me how. After upgrading the firmware as tech support instructed this morning I still didn't have a U21 in service mode go figure. So after much deliberation and gnashing of teeth I called tech support again and got someone who knew what he was doing. the instructions are as follows for anyone (probably me again) who will be needing the in the future.
      At the machine where it is asking for the login press the menu button>select local>type in the default un and pw>user/job account>set login to OFF. after this you should be about to acess the machine through the control center

        You always can log in the command center with Admin Admin even if the network password is set
