    Mac OS X 10.6 and KMC3232C

I have a KM 3232C networked to print on three Macs. The Mac running 10.5 has no problem printing. The Mac running 10.6 prints after I changed the permissions on the drivers in terminal, but very slowley. I changed the drivers to HP Jet Direct and it helped, but it still take 8 to 15 seconds between each page, with the problem getting worse with larger files. I know the problem is not with the memory of the machine because the Mac running OS X 10.5 does not have this problem. Any ideas?

it feels like a problem with the mac not the copier... you need to look at the mac that works correctly... check the print settings for the program that is doing the printing correctly.... check the settings for the print driver...

and then try to copy these settings to the mac that doesn't work...

I had the same problem with KM-C3232E make sure the driver are default to KPDL if that is ok
Try this, if you printing pdf file, Select one of the documents that print very slow and Click File then
Print in Acrobat. Click the Advanced box then check the box for Print
as Image. Click OK to close the window, then make some test
let me know is this fix the problem good luck.

Thanks, I checked the settings, but they are the same. The problem is indeed with the Mac I think, but is a problem with the OS. The new versions of the OS (Snow Leopard and Lion) have the problem.

            marc,

Its a no-go. The customer has decided to simply print from their older Mac.
