I'm working on a dc-1470 that gets a C41 code every two weeks or so. other then the code ths service history on this machine has been great and everything works fine, I cant make it break. I have cleaned everything and replaced a sensor and it keeps coming back. I want them to upgrade they want me to fix it. has anyone seen a similar issue, whats the fix.

I would make sure that all the components in lens unit are clean
and moving freely, maybe a little oil on the lens rail.
Also make sure the lens home position photo interupter is clean.
Sounds like you're getting an intermittent bind in the lens.

Check the power coming in, it has probably damaged the power supply just enough to cause the C-41 code to come up. I beat my brains up on this before I found it.........Have a great day.Comment
