Scan setup for 2550 and 3035 on Windows 7

Trying to set-up SMB folder's for these 2 machines. 3035 instructions seems straightforward.
But 2550 isn't. We are not used to the Kyocera's for scan. Read through the 2550 set-up manual which seems to jump ya back and forth through sections.. Installed scanner file utility, able to see scanner via browser, added computers path and set-up address. In the 2550 when trying to scan says PC not on.

Any tips or is there a clearer instruction download other than what is the basic set-up manual?

SMB scanning in not available in KM2550. You can scan only through utility.

Make sure you give your firewall an exception to allow the file utility program.

This "Scanner File Utility" is not something worth instructing within our forum.

It's easy when you're used to it, but for now you should consult with a local pro.
