Kyocer KM 4035 - Error - Unable to find destination PC, Check PC, Help please!

I am trying to get my kyocera to scan to my pc. I have set up all the required info on the Kyocera scanner, i have the file utility installed with the correct # folder as the one on the Kyocera scanner, but I still can't get it to detect my PC, the correct IP for my computer is set up in the Kyocera scanner, along with a assigned folder. What am I missing?? Please Help!!

    Thank You

I'd say anti-virus programs or firewall. Did you make an exception for SFU in the firewall? That's totally required.

I have anti-spyware on the computer, the scanner was set up to go to everyones computer directly, but then the we got an error that read format hard disk, we had our printer service people come and they said it was the scanner hard drive, they ordered but couldn't install it because they didn't need it but they got one of the computers to scan automatically to a pc but I need to set it up to have it scan to my PC as well.

        Hi,
You will also need to share the folder being scanned to and make sure read/write is enabled

Make sure you setup a destination pc in the command centre as the scanner first looks for a valid destination, check that the SFU is running, also try using computer name instead of IP address as host.
