ho gia' disabilitato ecm e diminuito la velocita' a 9600, ma ho sempre problemi nella ricezione fax

I had the same problem with a new unit we installed. There old fax worked fine on the line. It could send faxes fine. Replaced the fax unit and tried all different setting. Nothing worked. Pulled it back into the shop to trouble shoot the problem and it worked perfect. I return the machine to my customer and showed him the send and receive reports. Ask him to have the phone company check out his line, he reluctantly agree to have it checked. They found that the alarm company had hooked into the line and it was causing the problem. Since they removed the alarm from the line 3 months ago no problems.
