[Jamming] FSC-5015N jamming in duplex tray

Hello,

I am having a problem with a FSC-5015n that is jamming in the duplex tray right near the front of the machine right when it starts to curve up in the duplex tray. This is happening on the last roller set in the duplex tray before it makes the sharp curve up to go back into the paper cassette.

Anyone ever have this problem? Machine is older but only has 15000 copies on it so far. I tried cleaning the rollers but it only helped for a little while.

I had a customer with that problem once. It turned out they were using inkjet paper. I had to scrub all of the rollers to get some residue off of it and had them change the paper they were using. Could be the rollers either have a coating of something on them or they have shrunk a bit. Normally all of the jams I see in those type of duplex units involves slipping.

I would pull an event log also. Sometimes where the paper is jamming isn't always what's causing the jam with those duplex units.

I also have had this problem for two reasons
1st rollers need replacing
2nd dc controller. the duplex senser is connect to the dc controller

i would sergest that you get your rollers replaced first
