Company bought a km-5035 off a lease. brought it in and is running great. Installed an fn-73 and the copier doesn't acknowledge that the finisher is even plugged into it. pulled back cover and reseated all connectors on the main board ran u906 still no joy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We did hook this finisher to another working copier and it worked fine.

Did you check the recepticle the finisher plugs into?If at first you don't succeed, redefine success -

sorry it took so long to get back. Anyway the problem turned to be that the previous users had a df-75 hooked up and the person we bought it from had failed to remove the circuit board that goes with it. Anyway after looking at the schematic it was quickly figured out and problem solved. thanks for your reply. rb12Comment
