    KM-5035 adf unit

I have a Kyocera KM-5035 with a SRDF-2 feeder and it will not register paper in the feeder, if you hit print if copies from the copyboard glass and not the feeder.
Any help would be great. I cannot find a manual for the feeder.

    Thanks in Advance

      Re: KM-5035 adf unit

I put paper in the doc feeder and only the light on top is flashing, press start and it copies from the glass. I checked adf lift switch in the back and its good, I also get reset original on display.

Could be a lot of things. The ADF may not be plugged in tight enough or there is a problem with the plug, socket, or cord. You might want to 906 the machine, the machine might have disabled the ADF. You might also want to look at the paper sensor to the front of the feed tires, that might be sticking and not regestering there is paper in the feeder.

When you put paper in the feeder, the display says "Reset originals in the feeder"... is that correct? Does it say that even after you remove the paper from the adf tray, or only while you have documents loaded?
