    Kyocera Mita KM-2530 & 3530 Printer & Scanner

    Hi! I have machines here Kyocera Mita KM-2530 & KM-3530. The KM-3530 has a Printer & Scanner option while the KM-2530 doesn't have. I would like to ask if the Printer board of KM-3530 is the same with KM-2530? What I have also noticed in KM-3530 is that it has some kind of RAM board (the one with battery) while the KM-2530 doesn't have. Is that also needed for the printer to function? Also, I want to ask if the NIC card of KM-3530 is the same for KM-2530? Thank You very much

      In a nutshell,accessories for both models r compatible from my experience ergo printer & scanner board..probably even the parts.


      The ram board ur talkin about is the RTC board;without it,the scanner will not function...but the printer will function.
