CS8000 - Quality Issues after PM

Anyone had issues with the 8000i printing only "smudged lines" where the print should be directly after completing the PM? Installed all the components, ran thru the maint modes listed, even ran 130 to set developer, double checked all plugs to insure good connections.... going to go back and reload firmware, but it has the most current version already so non real hopeful that will solve the problem either...

Apparently you caused the malfunction yourself, so reloading firmware will not resolve it. Try to post a scan so everyone can see the lines.

I haven't done a pm yet on that model so this may be a moot point, but did you change out the transfer roller? If so it may not be "springing" back into position with the drum.

Sorry, went back, step by step thru the pm... must have had a real brain dead moment, I had missed removing the second film/sponge from the new developer unit.... pulled it out, reinstalled the unit and tested just fine...
        Felt like a real jackass....
