Home office - copier limited space

I have a remote office location in my home. My home office has a Kyocera KM-2560. I am looking for a similar copier.

    I have limited space 27 x 27.

I am looking for a quality scannerwith the copier. I am looking for quality with small file size. I have a Fujitsu 6130 and the quality and file size is not good. The Kyocera gives good quality and small file size.

    Quoted

Copystar - 255 multi- functional . My boss is asking if this is a good brand. I was told it had Kyocera Technology. Does anyone know how the scanner quality and file size it?

Konica Minolta bizhub 25 - Good? Scanner ??

    Sharp MX-B402SC- Good? Scanner?

Which is better? They are basically the same based on the specs.

    Thanks for any help!!

Other than the crazy grey page problem from the main PWB goin out I've not had any problems out of the 255,305, 205c, or 255c. But that issue is supposed to be fully resolved now on new machines. They are small machines for sure. They call them the "hobbit" machines here around the shop.

If you don't need to use 11X17 paper, I would recommend a KM-3540 or 3640. The only difference between these machines is the 3640 has fax capability.

We have had alot of problems with the 255's,

if i was you and you didnt need 11X17. i would either go for the

Bizhub C25 - if you need colour

or the KM-3540 - if you want just a mono

if you wanted an easier to function machine the C35 is another option - bit better with the touch screen.

I would stay away from the Sharp letter/legal machine. Dealer I used to work for quit selling them due to all the issues with them.

my opinion: Kyocera and konica are both good. Konica has a higher operating cost on most units, but I think their color prints are better quality than Kyocera.

I've supported both KyoceraMitas and KonicaMinolta, Copystar is a KyoceraMita under a different brandname.

I hated the KonicaMinolta, it has great quality dont get me wrong, but when is time to work on it, it is a pain in the neck
KyoceraMita/Copystar are easier to work with and easier to support, in some cases you dont even need tools to replace
              Supplies or even some parts
