Have a job separator on this machine and i am getting a j51 jam, i have not seen it jam because it only jams in the morning time before i get there.I have replaced the fuser unit did the mod on the service bulletin b319-3ma-0002 changing the lower js roller, firmware is updated. Could it be the solenoid sticking or i am just looking at the wrong thing. I also saw something about changing out the exit unit.

you can check the gears on the left side of the exit unit. The old style one didn't have the metal plate over the posts the gears rest on and the plastic gears would basically wallow themselves out, leaving a cone shape inside the gear. on rare occasion, the rollers on the JS comes loose due to heat. Check the js rollers on the finisher side and see if you can move them with very light pressure(without turning the whole shaft).Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.Comment
