          If you work on 20 year old analogue copiers that require firmware updates then I guess an eprom burner would be useful.

              To answer your question, Yes there is for some brands, for specific things like DV Resets and such, Not Worth it, it will get more expensive on the long run, replace your parts and supplies at the recommended intervals
