[Misc] Unable to send print job to Manual Feed using CUPS Printing

Hello,
We have several Kyocera Printers and MFP's and find that we are unable to send CUPS print jobs to Manual Feed tray.
Our core Patient Database Application uses a generic HP driver to control print jobs via CUPS.
Primarily we use Manual Feed tray for Patient Labels and Invoicing.
We have experimented with Emulation settings to no avail.
The output is multiple pages of a few random characters.
Printing from Tray 2 or 3 is not an issue.
We do not have any issues with "Windows Printing"
We have done a printing stream capture and sent of to Kyocera Technical Engineers for assistance
Would be interested to hear if there are similare issues out there.
Our models in use are FS-1128, FS-3140, FS3920, TaskAlfa300i

What OS are you using? What type of file is it? PDF?

The applications are written in Unix/html or Oracle.

Did you try installing the Kyocera Linux PPD version 8.4 driver for CUPS

The real issue evolves because the applications in question, Primarily IBA WebPAS (Patient Admin System) has only HP driver written into the application.
So the issue comes back to Kyocera in relation to the support of HP Emulation.
We have no known issues with other brands, such as Canon, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Ricoh. (These print without any intervention)

Have you tried reinstalling the printer using an HP driver? We used to have issues with certain accounting software that only liked HP printers. We used the HP 5Si driver instead of the appropriate Kyocera version and got pretty good results in a lot of cases. It's something to try, anyway.
