The TASKalfa 305/255 can dramatically lower your TCO total cost of ownership...Kyocera's SMARTtech is affordable

Just click on the above it will take you to the manuals for this machine at the Kyocera Mita cinsumer site, includes scan setup.

Not to be insulting or anything but, you do have the scan card option installed, correct? Not just the one printer card. Also you need to install (and have runnning) the scan user software that will communicate from your PC to the 2050.

Another scan set-up question on this. We had the 2050 set up to scan to Desk Top Folder on XP. Customer got Win7 64 bit. Our other tech just went out. Installed File utility, Folders , Set up user browser IP link etc. But couldn't get to work.

Is there a trick or something on Windows 7. Can you scan to folder as before.
            Thanks in advance

Have you tried adding the Scanner file utility to the firewall?
