    Kyocera KM 2030 error C710

    Hi all

    I attended a KM 2030 with error C710 which apaarently has only occurred since moving the machine. . . .

    I have checked the connectors to the imaging unt and toner motor.

    When I enter U135 in diagnostics, the motor turns on fine and switches off.

    I have then entered U132 which runs for 4-5 seconds then stops. The INPUT value begins at 15 then counts down to around 8!

    If I try run U135 after, the green start buttion does not come ready and the U135 will not run until i power off and on again.

    The SM says to replace the toner sensor and check wiring then replace Dev. . .

    Is there anything anyone can add before I order up the toner sensor and dev??

    Is there anything I need to replace at the same time as the toner sensor and dev?

    Try an all clear Sim 20, if comes back up in metric sizes do a 252 to set back to inch. If that fails you might have a board problem. I have done this to several boards and it took care of the problem. There is also a surface mounted fuse and a coil that sometimes go on these boards.

      change de developer (carrier)
      run sim 130
      problem should be solved=> if not change complete unit.

        try to change developer if the problem still there you need to change the main PWB
