KM-3035 Drawer 1, Remove paper when no paper in drawer--no jam code

KM-3035 when drawer 1 selected, panel reads, "open drawer 1, remove paper from drawer, reset drawer"
There is no paper jamed, no paper in drawer at all. The Drawer 1 and 2 feed head assy have been swapped. Both feed heads work properly in drawer 2 slot. The paper feed clutch has been relaced and the lift motor has been replaced. I cannot find this message any where in the service manual and am stumped.
Any suggestions??

Have you tried to swap drawers?

Check the drawer connector in the back (both the one on the drawer itself and the one in the machine). You may find small scraps of paper stuck inside one or both connectors.

I have swapped drawers, no change of state.
I have replaced the drawer side connector, even though no visable damage and the machine side connector appears to be intact, with no foreign matter. ???

Greetings from conway, try removing the wire ties from the wiring harness leading the the main pcb, also do a 906 in service mode.

u906, try that first then check connector.

dismantle casette control please in casette sensor and u906

Hy , if you did u906 and didnt helped try change the engine board .

Paper lift motor,If that does not work you will have to replace the engine board. Do not replace the engine board with out replacing the lift motor. The lift motor could be bad and it will take out the engine board.

There is a sensor at back of machine to detect cassette, they fail too
