fs1118 color scanner

Hi,
i want use color scanner on fs 1118 black scan is good but color mode , image is not clear ,so bright.
i check all options and clean mirror-contact glass.
May it be latest engine firmware software.how can solve this.

If I remember correctly that model is the non american version of the KM1820. I only know that because I had a customer that actually managed to set the machine to Japanese mode and that was the model number that came out.

To answer the original question, I'll need to see what you mean by bad scan before I can get you a better answer.

Clean the optics. I mean the LSU-Unit under the platen glass.
