km 3530 and km 2035

I got a km3530.its running well until i saw the upper fixing roller needs replacement. what i did , i got the fixing assy from a km3035 unit that is in the stockroom , hoping for a quick fix and swap it in the km 3530. a code appears c7400. i swap back the original fixing assy but i still got the code c7400. now i cant reset the c code. any info for me? please...

My next question is about km 2035, is there a provision for a analog meter? maybe on the main board connector perhaps??? or an option for a analog counter?.

a closer look at fuser units shows they are different ,heat rollers and pressure rollers are not the same, but more importantly the small chips/boards inside the fuser units are different so u get an error code,

No, you can't swap fusers, but the error you're getting is for the image formation unit (drum unit). Didyou have the drum out?

My bad guys...silly me for swapping the fuser..but i did not take out the drum set..only the fuser.after swapping the fuser, i just turn it on then c 7400 appears . what i did after is returned the original fuser and power on the machine, but the c7400 is still there hence cannot be reset..i 've check the drum connector hoping for a loose connection but to no avail..c 7400 is still there.is there a possibility that i damaged the main board? any suggestion ???
