    [Misc] POOR KEYBOARD RESPONSE

    hi everyone, customer complaining about poor keyboard / ops panel response. km2560.

    will try a factory reset see if that helps, any of you guys come across this problem and fixed.
    any advice appreciated.

      Clean around the edges of the touch panel up under the cover...dirt and grime can get up in there...then initialize the op panel with U201 then do a U906....that will fix the problem a majority of the time.....

          Kidaver is right, try that first. it's only worked for me 50% of the time.
          I replace the panel if that doesn't fix it. Its a resistive touch panel that sits on top of the LCD as a separate assembly.
          Here is the part number:
          302H094270 PARTS,TABLET OPERATION,SP

          If you do replace the touch panel, make sure to re-flash the firmware on the machine just to be safe(there's a TB about that), then re-calibrate ( u201).
