Wiil Kyocera Mita Brand cartridges Fit Copystar Machines (CS1820) TK-18

I have a customer with a Copystar CS1820 who needs Tk-18 toner cartridges. I see that it is sold under both Copystar and Kyocera Mita labels as TK-18 are the cartridges identical or slight modification so as not to allow installation of cartridge. Also in general ,for other models, would the same rule follow. I am able to get the KM Tk-18 considerably cheaper and would prefer to buy that at this time. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

All machines can take the same toner, we use utax machines but the kyocera toner is alot cheaper.

All i do for a utax 1455/1930/1945 etc is remove the guide inside the machine. if you look at the underneath of these toners the patterns are different but removing the part sorts this out.

also our utax mc need to use utax toner or the toner level dont work, so when we use kyocera/copystar toner i change the model destination number as correct to the toner being used as it shows the levels and keeps customers who use the computers to check levels happy

I honestly think i was clear in my post about the toner cartridges and the marks on the bottom of cartridges that stop them fitting into other branded machines

I had already ordered and delivered the Kyocera brand TK-18 cartridges which I bought at excellent pricing. I was informed by a few techs that the Kyocera and Copystar brands are interchangeable. I only have the one customer with Copystar CS-1820 and he had just put his last toner in when he ordered from me. This means I won't be hearing from him for a while. Frank
