    Error C:0150 on FS9530DN

I have a high volume FS9530DN giving C:0150 EPROM error codes and have flashed via USB several times. It will work for 10 to 15 minutes then stop, paper is always jammed coming out of the fuser. I repalced the fuser as well to eliminate that. This printer is in a critical print area, any help is appreciated!

Have you tried updating the firmware with a Compact Flashcard, instead of USB?

No, does it make a difference how the flash is performed? I have 4 of these in one location, hooked directly to inserters, and 3 of them have exhibited the C0150 error codes, however only this one continues to show this code after flashing from USB.

        Re: Error C:0150 on FS9530DN

Sometimes Flashing does correct the problem. Sometimes, not so lucky. I've got a FS-4020DN that is doing almost the same thing. Flashed using USB and Compact Flash Card .
Re-flash FW make two or three prints...0150 code. Repeat , Repeat , ...

Have an EEPROM on order to try next. Hopefully this will correct the problem without changing the Engine Board.

Like DWISE suggested...try up-dating the firmware using a compact flash Card.

Good Luck ....... Please keep us up-dated on this ...............

I replaced the engine board yesterday with no change in performance. I have looked in the parts manual for the EEPROM part # but did not find it listed anywhere.

You will need to call the Helpdesk...tell them what is going on, and get the part number from them.

Good Luck ..... I'm still waiting on the EEPROM I ordered .

OK, I flashed with CF Card with no change. I have ordered EPROM. Today, the other three 9530's all go down with the C0150 error, two reset by customer, one still down. I am very concerned that there is a problem with this engine from Kyocera. My customer does around 100K per week on the 4 units and of course are concerned about the product and/or our ability to identify and correct the problem.

                Hi.
I had an FS-2000 which had the same error, I changed the EEPROM and that fixed the fault so hopefully you will have the same result.
This was posted to give you a glimmer of hope on a Monday Morning lol, good luck.

PS we had a FS-C2126 with the same fault, please note you cannot change the EEPROM on these m/c's we had to swap the m/c out.

I had the same code on a 9530. Call tech support for an epom. Put it in, call tech support and they will put the s.n. and meter count in.

TonerKiller is right ......... If the firmware ( oops, I meant frimwar ) does not correct the problem....gotta do the new EEPROM and ' Help Desk ' link up.
Usually the update does the trick ... since I put in the new EEPROM the 4020 runs fine now ... just no page count or Serial Number . I will have to get the ' Help Desk ' in on this one. I wonder if this ( 4020 ) did not just reload count and S/N because it is Wise Core ?

My client is not going to allow someone to remote in, this is a multi-billion $ company, so I hope that Kyocera has another way. I have, in my 29 years of field service, never had a manufacturer with this kind of problem on a high volume comercial grade printer or MFP. Unfortunately, this reflects poorly on us in the field, regardless of what anyone says, from the customer side to our productivity and call stats.

This is sounding more like an environmental problem. Four printers don't just happen to go down with the same error at the same time for nothing. Maybe once you get the EEPROM installed and firmware flashed, you can call the Helpdesk and they can give you other ideas to try. We have had the 0150 errors before, but they are sporadic. The 9530's are very good heavy-workload machines. Hope your problem gets cleared soon.
