    KM-5050 80gb hdd file system??

I'm formatting the hard drive on a Kyocera KM-5050 externally with a PC - I just wanted make sure I was using the correct file system. I was initially led to believe it would be FAT32, but as that can only handle disk drives upto 40Gb, it's got me wondering what file system I should be using. Would a standard NTFS work?

Found a thread with the same problem. Due to differing answers, it looks like you can do a couple of things:

    1. Make the largest FAT32 partition you can, then format the rest as XFS. See which one the copier will recognize.

    2. Format the drive from the copier itself if that's possible.

Why not format it in the copier as the copier has a simulation to perform this procedure?
