    [Misc] KM-5035 Setup

    Hello All...
We have recently moved our business from a big office to the house of the owner, everything including our KM-5035.

We had the 5035 setup to print from all of our machines and to be able to scan to 2 of them, THEN our Fios router took a dump and we had to get a new one. (When I say took a dump, I mean it started to smoke one day). Verizon came out and brought us a new router, the problem is, now we cannot print to our 5035 any longer nor is the scan function working.

I have tried to re-add the printer but I can't evn get the router to recongnize it, and I do remember the IT guy we had before had to change a setting on the fios router to get it to recognize that the Machine was connected to it, it was blocked somehow.

Any help you guys can give me would be much appreciated...

    Moved the unit ....
    Burned up router ....
Possibly not on a dedicated circuit ...
Lots of variables there to say it is just one thing .
Contact your local KM dealer and set up a service call .

    Good luck ...

Maybe the machine has a static ip adress that is not on the same network class of the new router and pc are in dhcp?

I got it fixed, had to do with the IP addresses.

        1. IP Config to get my IPV4 address.
        2. Went to the machine and changed the printer IP address to match my machine, things started to print.
        3. Went to the machine and changed the scanner IP address to match my machine, minus the last 2 digits, my machine was 20, i changed the scanner to 21
        4. Voilla, things started printing and I was able to connect to the two machines like before to scan things.

Just thought I would re-check in. Thanks for the replies guys!
