km 4050 jam 12 from 3000sheet tray

Having trouble with this copier, when copying from tray 3 (3000sheet) i am getting a jam 12 code, thinking it was just feed rollers I changed them with no improvement, then i changed the two h-rollers, still no improvement, in the past i have found broken h-base but everything looks good on this one. i then swaped out the one way and still having issues, last thing i tried was some clutches but still having issues. It tries to feed paper but it never makes it to the feed tires. i am sure its something stupid simple but i just dont know what.

So it can't pass any paper?

The mylar is extremely important. And nicks, glue peeling, or bow will cause problems.


The other thing is the left size pick up assembly has tabs to hold it down. One of the tabs will break and can be fixed by a self-tapping screw. Looks closely and you will see.

But both these solutions are for frequent jamming not constant.

On the pickup roller...Clean the white one way bearing with alcohol, scotch brite the shaft and clean with alcohol, do not use any oil. Replace the mylar at the separation roller.
