Got a head scratcher hear. Customer has printed with mac for a long time no problems they wanted to hook up 2 xp and 1 win 7 machines then they downloaded the driver installed and used id number printing.
what happens is they are able to print 1 test page then the printer goes off line won't print anymore windows prints they stay in the print spooler. During the time it says its off line i can print with the macs no problem. If i reset the print board it will come back on line and print 1 page just like before. they are printing to ta 820 with id number with no problem. tried 3 differnt drivers and updated firmware /format hd/scan disk/ ram init/ return to factory defaults/
tried a other ip will do the same thing cross over is not working either. I talked to kyocera no idea said to call them if i figure it out. The remote interface works the whole time even when windows say it is off line. any ideas?
