JAM-4013 in TAS-8000i

i faced problem in TAS-8000i registration Jam-4013. i checked the registration sensor,its working fine.the machine done only 5k. copies.before it having problem jam-4208...after updating the firmware its having intermittent JAM-4013.this problem happening in duplex mode. simplex is working fine and no problem found.any help???thanks

Have you tried checking out recent Service Bulletins from Kyocera? That will help you a lot.

We have a same jam code J4013 on a TA 3550ci , works fine on single pages only jams on duplex, We have had a few issues with these , machine still in warranty so may swap out side door.

20130906_074932.jpgCheck the white rollers that press on the pre-reg roller. They should turn freely when the door is open. Page 80 item 21 is the roller holder. It will break.

Yeah had loads of the idle roller housing break causing jams and skewing , this is only on duplex so the paper comes out the side door above the idle rollers, is quite intermittent so a sod to fault find.
