Attaching image... image fading out on trail edge of copy/print. Image attached are from internal samples. Ran drum refresh with no change. Developer and Fuser replaced 2 months ago. Void does not repeat across the image at all... any suggestions?

Re: Quality issue - CS4035
My suggestion
You need to do the STOP test and stop the paper in the copy process by opening door.
Will take a few tries but catch the trail edge as it is still on the drum before transferring to paper.
If it looks good you can eliminate drum and developer and look at the transfer assy or fusing for the problem.
also can catch paper after transfer before fusing and check image then, if it looks good then fusing problem. Or do this first as it is easier to catch than on drum. -

Hi, The 1st image reminds me of the old LED printers when portions of the LED's failed.
you could be looking at a laser writing issue? the lines look perfect along the edges of the blank areas.
I dont think this is drum, dev, transfer or fusing. possibly a main board problem. I had a printer that went the opposite way
total black page and this was the main board keeping the laser fully on.

TR appears to be ok.. one of the retaining clips was broken when I arrived, but replacing it didnt make a difference. I also cleaned the contacts on the roller as I know if they are dirty it can create issues...Comment
