Taskafla 500ci paper deck paper raising

Have anyone seen the (PD760) paper deck most of the time not going up, lift motor is new and I checked all the switches look fine. The deck control PCB is the last thing? Thanks.

I would check the connectors from the paper deck to the copier and see if they are tight first.

What problem are you having? Does the machine have a "error occured at cassette 3". Then the top ofthe lct needs shimmed down. The lift motor pushes the upper limit too far.

is that deck closing correctly... i faced the same kind of problem.there is a switch inside ... check that also......

Hi, is this from both sides of the tray? is there any C codes? 1030 or 1040 I think from memory.
I know you said the motor is new but I would just take the tray out and check there is no issue with it turning freely and that the shaft does not stick
we had a heap of issues on one and most of the time it was the way the paper was stacked.
Half way down or at the bottom it was just all folded up causing the lift mechanism to jam up this then
also caused a twist in the spring loaded drive shaft preventing it to engage the tray lift gear.
also check that there is no broken bits in the feed roller section,(take out the unit from the left side) there was an issue where the plastic
lug would break allowing movement in the feed roller area.

First of all, thanks so much for all your quick response. So far I'm waiting for the PCB to try out, the machine didn't shows any error code at all. Already checked turned by hand to raise up the tray no problem,When the deck close, I saw the paper doesn't raise up at all so it doesn't has a chance to touch the upper limit sensor. Then, it always shows "jam 12" which is no paper feed from the deck as the manual indicate. I will double check the connector from the copier to the deck. Thanks again.
