Hi all,
Just wondering how have you resolved the non-paper feed issues with these machines.We were changing the old rollers in the paper feed units every 50-60k. I hear from one of our suppliers (olivetti) have new rollers out.I have currently one machine running with km5035 rollers but its too early to say as its only 40k into the test but so far so good anyways.
So just curious as to what anyone else has expierienced.Thanks.

Measure against the no paper feed jam 0501 No paper feed from cassette 1

Depending on the operating environment of low humidity and the effect of the paper dust, etc. the paper cannot be conveyed
due to slipping and then the no paper feed jam (refer to below for the applied paper jam code) may occur less than 150K
(cycle of replacing the feed roller). Therefore, the spring pressing the retard roller (No.1) is set up for field for smooth rotation
of the retard roller according to the feed roller.

CONTENT OF CHANGES:
The spring pressing the retard roller for field (No.1) is set up that increases the tension by 0.8N/mm as compared with the
spring for production.

Please clean the surface of all the roller in the primary feed unit and then replace the spring
pressing the retard roller with the spring for field (No.1) only for the machine where the no paper
feed jam occurs less than 150K counts.
However, please don’t use the spring for field (No.1) in the primary feed unit/PF primary feed unit
that doesn’t include the one-way gear. (If used, the spring pressure is too much and so multi feed
jam may occur.)

Firmware Upgrade (V 3.01)........Corrective measures for the failure at the JAM0501 no feed jam clearance.
The drive may not be stopped if JAM 0501 occurs and it is cleared while restarting from the silent mode. - Therefore, this is corrected.
