    Laser Kyo FS-C5300DN

Somebody knows if you can swap the LK-540/550 LSU unit in a C5300 machine instead of a LK-560 LSU?
In the partlist the only different is the speed or the drawer (500 sheets or 250 sheets).
Those differences has no influence on the laser i guess?

For the FS-C5300DN, you would need to use the LK-560A & LK-560B. It's not necessarily the size of the cassette that matters, but speed. You will see "21/23ppm" and "26/28ppm". The "26/28ppm" is for the FS-C5300DN.

      Hello Dwise,

That's what i also saw in the parts list.
We've an C5200 to dismantle where the laser LK550A is in perfect condition.

If you are intent on trying it, do it. I doubt it will work due to the speed differences though, although I have been wrong before...

I doubt to if it will work but the speed/type of drawer can't have influence on the laser i guess ??
Anyway...i've heard the client will buy another machine...
