[Misc] MPC2500 - Noisy fusing unit.

    Hi
I have a mpc2500 and there is a lot of clicking and kind of knocking sounds coming from the fuser. Just can't quite pinpoint the part of the fuser causing it, gears look okay etc has anyone ever seen this before?

check orange sponge roller under the fuser belt, it usually has a flat on it, also brearings etc.

Dry or walking bearings on fuser roller shafts. Clean all fuser roller shafts and replace all bearings. Don't forget the heat grease on the shafts and inside the bearings too.
