Ok I have a 250ci telling me to close Left Cover 1. Before you say it...yes I've closed the cover. When the cover is closed it is closing the Interlock Switch. I have taken the switch out and tested it for continuity, checked and it has 24V going to it. Even jumped the wires to take the switch out of the equation. Error never goes away. Called tech support while there and he was reading from something or another, talking about another switch which I hunted and hunted for. Finally we just went straight to the feeder board he mentioned and tested voltages there. I had the 3.3v as I should. Followed the wires to the switch and turns out he had me looking for the switch for the lower left cover. So it's late in the day and 45 miles back to shop on a friday. Get back here and dig out the trust manual and get looking deeper into it with the wiring diagram and there seems to be a switch that is hard to find where the lower left cover 2 closes. But if this cover is open I should be getting a close left cover 2 error which I did not. But in the manual it says that ILSW is supplied 24V via Left Cover SW 1. I've had the 24V at ISLW. I'm going up with another ILSW and taking just the whole left door from a machine sitting in our shop. I fear it's a board I'm going to have to order but I'm hoping maybe someone else has come across this problem and can point out something I might be missing.

Re: 250ci close left cover 1
I've got an update on this I'll post later when I have a bit more time to type it all up....crazy problem but it no longer says to close the left cover...but the damn magenta isn't working now so not quite a full victory yet...."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."
