    [Error Code] KM 4800 W

    Hi There,
one of my tech.. called me yesterday from a remote location for a error code 0*00000006 in KM 4800 W machine ...
Machine is performing the warm up rotation cycle and other initial rotations.....the machine is getting ready...but after warm up its show the error code 0*00000006..... if he press the enter key,he is getting the ready to copy screen for 3 seconds...after that same error code display.....its look like the windows error code,so i told him to remove the network connection ,then check..again same problem....this time i told him to look the small display ,which is located near the counter....he got Printer Ready display there ....

Some time the machine is showing some improper display....[image attached]

No details found in the service manual and tech bulletins....any one faced this problem before? ..need help guys.....

That looks like a Kip 3000 series. If so it may need the controller reloaded. The engine side may be good but the controller may need either re imaged or replaced.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Am not really sure about this model but had a similar issue on the latest plotter km 4820 that was throwing funny error codes and all we had to do was reload the controller software,on this new model u send Kyocera the serial no and they give u some codes that u enter into the machine, then it's done.
failure is not an option !
