    Kyocera KM1820 Scan?

Just installed this box, downloaded print and scan (twain) drivers, print works fine can't get scan program? Customer wants to scan to desktop. I see a KM1820 in control panel (scanners). Using USB, desktop op is Vista. I have no OEM CD. There is no fax option installed on KM1820. What am I missing other than a brain. Thanks

I could be wrong, but I thought that the 1820 was set up to network scan only.

Thanks kkendric, are you suggesting using the network card rather than USB? If this is the case will I get a scanner program once this done? Are there any other utilities I need to download?

We have had issues setting up scanning to a computer using Vista and above.

Hey thanks guys, I'll try that free utilities download & Zackuth I tried to reply to your tread "Toshiba Parts" but post wouldn't let me. Anyway if you have parts #'s talk to a sales rep @ PR and they will get you any part you might need.

You can scan with SMB you just have to make sure and have a username and password to log into the PC and you have to put that same user name and password in for every time the user wants to scan something to the computer.
