    MyQ monitoring software

    Hello Techs,
I just needed to ask if anyone has ever worked with the MyQ monitoring software for printers and multifunctionals on a network. I found it while researching for a monitoring software, and I need a feed back on whether this software is legitimate and if any of you techs recommends this product.

    Thanks.

Hey "blackandwhite", so you are not recommending this software for monitoring?..And I am not sure what you meant by "check with Cardarsis"......

        Thanks for the feedback.

            Re: MyQ monitoring software

Okay thanks for the feed back, but we are a Kyocera distributor, and we do not sell any other brand, so we want to have a monitoring software, for our machines, so that we can introduce it as a package deal to our customers. What do you think.

              Hye,

As "Blackandwhite" said, you can look at our solution GESPAGE (Gespage - Gestion d'impression - Print, Copy, Manage) by Cartadis. It's working with Kyocera and all the others brands.

              Sincerly,

                Hello everyone,

Normally when a user print outside Myq queue, myQ report shows unknown. So How to prevent users from printing outside queues.

                Thanks.

                  Re: MyQ monitoring software

For that you need to check "Set up IP filters" when installing embedded terminals with remote setup, and that saves a lot of time.
The other way is to manually set IP filters thru Command Center for every device:

                  IP filters.jpg

In the IP Address(IPV4) field you will enter the IP address of MyQ server. Under Subnet mask field, you will enter 255.255.255.255 (in networking, this means: any network, any host).
For the protocols, check those as marked on the picture and restart devices after submitting.

MyQ is great software. Kyocera's KMnet Manager is actually MyQ, but with out other vendor support as well.
