Twice in the past month or so we have had our TA8000i "hang" in the middle of a long copy job.
Person will be copying hundreds of pages, and the job duration has exceeded 2 hours of running time (not all straight copying, but total time including copying, dealing with originals, etc). At some point, after feeding a set of originals to be copied, the machine simply stops, the memory light blinks, but nothing happens. No output, keypad is unresponsive, etc. Seems like it is hung up, maybe a memory overload of some sort? Only way to get machine back is to power cycle.
Anyone else experience this? We have a call in to service about this, but they have not heard of this before. As far as I know we are on the latest firmware.
Thanks.
