    MENU > System > Main Memory ...

    ... what is it ?

    Actually, I had this problem:
    Machine FS-C8025MFP (1024MB RAM)
Copying of A3 color original gave me this error:

A while after scaning original the machine display error "Low memory for making this copy"

I tried to set ... <Main Memory> from default "Scan pages priority" to "Scan size priority" and it helped me and resolved this problem. (?)

    Thanks for expalnation.

PS: You must have last ver. of operation guide to see this option settings "Main Memory" and some newer firmware.

I think 1 GB of memory should be more than enough to make an A3 copy. Are you sure your memory is OK?

Have you turn on the Ram Disk?
I advise to add additional 1GB Ram for FS-C8025MFP.
Most of the time resolve the issue.

For turning RAM-disk it is needed to buy and install another 1GB memory. Customer is not willing to do it right now.
For all that, RAM disk is usefull for printing large amount of copies of printed document, not for copying from glass and not for this strange behavior.

From my understanding, A3 Full Colour picture use for Copy, the machine will prompt low memory.
By adding the extra 1GB will solve the problem.
You could try by borrowing a 1GB ram to test out the full colour picture.
If A3 half colour picture, maybe still can do the copy.
If you use scan, less than 10 or 20 pieces of A4 full colour pictures 300dpi (can't recall) will also encounter low memory.

Copy default is using 600dpi that why take up alot of memory.
