Hi, I have a KM 2560, and I have just replaced the main board, but the screen is blank. The machine comes on and all, but nothing on the screen, only the memory light flicks for about three seconds and that's it. The current problem, was that when the machine is turned on, "Program loading would appear on the screen, and pause at that, so we tried updating the firmware, and the machine didn't seem to be reading any removable device that was plugged into it, flash drive, those memory cards, nothing of external memory could be read, so we had the main board changed, and now we got nothing on the screen, and when we put the old board back, it doesn't make any difference. Anybody faced this problem before.

I see this fairly often. There is a small ( very small ) switch on the board under the panel. You may need to remove the panel to find it the first time you look for it. It's on the board that the touch screen cable plugs into. It's on the edge of the board so you can toggle the switch without removing the panel. It can be hard to see.
If you toggle this switch to the left and boot the copier you will see the memory light begin to flash....slowly at first then faster, back to slow then it will remain lit. At this point turn the copier off and toggle the switch back to the right.
Put your firmware usb into the slot and turn the copier on. Since the panel now has no firmware it will take about 7 minutes before you start to see the panel firmware load. Just wait for it. When it's finished you should have your panel back. -

Thanks darry1322, but I have tried doing that, and even after I have turned that little switch, and the turned the machine on, their is no activity from the panel. None from the memory light, or any of the lights. What happens is the power light is on, and when I press the power button and hold it, the power light turns off, when I release the power button, it the light turns back on. Its the first time that I am facing this problem, and its becoming a head ache. Any more advice.
