I've been tasked with replacing our Ricoh Aficio 3035. I decided to get quotes based on a Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050ci just to be able to get an apples to apples comparison. However, we aren't necessarily looking specifically at that machine and got quotes on a few others such as the Canon Imagerunner C2230, Savin C3002, and Ricoh MP3350SPF. I'm not well versed in the world of copiers and don't know which brands are better than others. We are looking for a basic machine with at least 30 ppm and a fax. Nothing super fancy. What machines would you recommend that are in the same ballpark as the ones Ive gotten quotes for? Thanks.

Re: Looking for a new MFC
I can tell you that the Ricoh you are looking at is not a color machine, that would be the first step, if you need color, if you need to lease or purchase, how important is durability and color quality to you? Those are important items to keep in mind... I can tell you the C3002 whether it's savin or ricoh is the same machine, a good quality machine, as is any Canon device. If you have any other needs or questions let me know! -

The 3350 Ricoh model is an older generation model I can also say, if you are looking for a newest generational device or ricoh or savin let me know!Comment

Re: Looking for a new MFC
I've been impressed with the latest Konica Minolta color machine...C224 and up series....have several out there and only calls I get are just basic user questions on them...."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."
