KM 5050 error code CF323

Hi folks,

I'm being called in to back up another tech, who I suspect has wrecked the NVRAM of this poor 5050, He was to install a fax board and I suspect he failed to turn it off and unplug it. he's what i do know.. he's reported to me he's getting an error code CF323 thats not in any manual, and tech support is clueless as well. he's exchanged out the fax board, the Interface board and the main board. thus I suspect the NVRAM has been trashed. If anyone has any way to provide me with the true explanation of the code i would be grateful.

problem solved

hello everyone,

Just figured I'd follow up with what fixed the problem,
all CF codes are system errors ( which ones i still don't know )

1) reinstalled all the original boards less the fax board.
2) restored the copier to factory default.
3) reformatted the HDD.
4) powered up and tested. ( made a test /system config copy and ensured fax was uninstalled.)
5) powered down. unplugged.
6) reinstalled the original fax board leaving the phone lines disconnected.
7) powered up and tested for new hardware being installed.
8) powered down and connected phone line.
9) powered up and tested fax options and TX/RX confirmations.
10) called the boss, said the "jobs done!, ya owe me a beer."
